1993 Mercedes 500SEL W140 Battery Light On
Red battery light on the Instrument Panel came on the other day while driving in a rainstorm through some large puddles. Meter telling me that nothing is coming from the alternator. Pretty sure its the alternator but wanted to make sure before I dive into that job. Just wondering if once it gets wet if it shorts and must be replaced or should I wait for it to dry out? Also if it must be replaced can anyone gear me towards where I can purchase one. Thank you in advance.
