Cabin Access through Firewall
Thx
There are (I think) four screws that hold the "lid" to the box chassis. (The cover attaches to the lid).
There are 4 or 6 screws that hold the fuse blocks into the fuse box. Loosen them - they stay attached to the blocks.
Lift the fuse blocks up and you'll be able to see into the car.
From under the driver's side dash, there are probably some covers that have to be removed - I'm thinking of a insulation "sheet" that has a black attachment point up high on the left. When you get that out of the way, you should be able to see up and into the fuse box from inside the car.
Figure out a way to run the wire that allows for the following:
No pinching when all the fuse box contents are reinstalled - don't want to cause a short in the box, or with the wire to the chassis of the car.
NO WATER LEAKS - use a rubber grommet or silicone to make sure water cannot get in around the wire.
Hope this helps.
