Xenon Headlights for a 1998 S320

I have a 1998 S320, which I am in the process of hooking up. I am just wondering if there were Xenon Headlights available for this car from the dealer as an option. I tried to get the value of my car anbd when it asked what options I had, one of them said Xenon Headlights. If anybody knows about this, then please post a reply. Anybody who is going to be hooking up there W140, I can tell you what kind of stuff they have for it.

Im not sure what your asking, but you can get xenons on your car if you want to pay the price. I have them on my 97 S500 and 98 cl600, but i would never pay the dealer to get them unless i got them at cost or something. Way to pricey. Sam

Thanks for the reply. My brother actually put Xenons in his Volkswagen recently, but his high beams do not work. I have a 2000 S600 and it has the bi-Xenons so the high beams work. Who makes your xenons and do the high beams work? If they do, then those are the ones that will work for me. I have a friend who works in the Parts Dept. of the local Mercedes dealer and the cost price he gets me is unbelievable compared to the fortune they charge to the public. Again, thanks for you reply.

Your brother probably put aftermarket xenon lights in his Volkswagen. That is why they don't have highbeams. A lot of these aftermarket parts are made that way due to cost. Factory parts are always better because they were engineered for the car. You just have to pay the price. If you get the factory xenon lights from the mbz dealer, the highbeams will definitely work. I also checked with www.bekkers.com before and their highbeams work on the xenon kit. I think the dealer charges about $3k for both sides and bekkers charges $2k but they are not factory parts. How much can your friend get you the factory lights for? I think $2k to $3k is too much to spend on headlights. Just my 2 cents.
