What a great Site!
Hello Everyone, First off to start with, i have just bought my self a 1995 S320L, it seems to be in a decent shape, except for the minor rust spots, anyway the car has 222KM on it now and it works great, however there is a few minor things that are of concern:
First, the transmission was rebuilt at 180K, it shifts perfectly through first, third, fourth but it takes a bit longer to shift from second to third, like even when it shifts, the rpm goes up to 4k before in gauging to the third gear, if this is unclear i can make a video to further show the problem.
Second: i would like to know what the possiblity of modifying these cars i.e performance wise. Is there any turbo kits or can a AMG engine be swapped into it?
Third: I would like to know where i can buy replacement OEM parts at a decent price as the dealership here charges an arm and leg for parts and usually takes about a week to arrive.
Last But Not Least: i have seen some images of member rides on here and i find many of them have a really nice looking body kit, i was wondering where i can purchase a similiar one, something that is elegant and not to ricey.., as for wheels, can i install perhabs 20-22" wheels on the car without running into any problems
Finally I have posted a topic similiar to this before however ,when i came back the following day to check my post, i found my user name was changed from HalifaxMB to Canadian_benz... how was that possible? i also was not allowed to post any topics using that user name and the topic was deleted so i had to create a new account to socialize with you guys. So can someone please clarify that for me.
