I have one of those annoying intermittent problems. If I have not used my car for a while when I drive off within about 1.5km/1mile the ASR light comes on and the car goes into crawling mode, ie will not exceed 80kmh/50mph etc. When I pull over and stop, switch off for a few seconds and restart it is back to normal. This usually goes on anywhere form 5- 10 times. However usually when I drive back it runs fine. Car is stock, any ideas from anyone? Thanks

I know there is an ASR relay that sometimes goes bad, but I do not know much more than that. Have you had a service center look at the car?

I have not replaced the relay, cant seem to find it in the book, amy idea where it is? Thanks
