Prepurchase 97 S500
Hi guys,
I am a w124 owner right now and I have stumbled across a 1997 S500 with 130k miles.
What are the common problems on the M119 engine? Are the V8 engines very expensive to maintain? I am learning fast about engines and I would be very good for any DIY jobs, but other than that, any serious upper/lower engine/transmission work that could go wrong based on the mileage?
The interior looks like it has been cared for and the price is very good.
