S320 wheels
We can find wheels on ebay and craig's list, but there are so many variables (lug size, offset) that we aren't sure which will fit. His car has 14mm lugs. I don't know what the offset is - I'm 600 miles away, so can't measure it. It's OK if they don't look identical to the the ones that originally came on the car, but we don't want to get stuck with something that won't work.
Will any of these properly fit his car?

Thanks for your reply.
The two craig's list listings have expired. One of them was like the ebay wheels, but the guy did state that they came from a 2000 S-class.
The others look like what originally came on the W140. A Mercedes Benz parts guy told me that there are wheels that look similar but are for other chassis. Anyway, I got the part number for these and it matches the number for the W140, so I'm going to go look at them on Saturday.
After getting the part number I found a couple of useful websites that give the OEM wheel part number for many different models.

Again, Philip, thanks for taking the time to click on those links and reply to my question.

2000 W220 OEM wheel(16x7.5 Spined 7 Spoke 2204010102) are fine for W140. I used the same bolt to mount the wheel for winter use.
Let me know what wheel you end up buying.

Philip,
I found an individual with a set in Sacramento (70 miles north of me), serial number 1404011402, (6-spoke, 16x7.5) which is the correct wheel according to MB. $400 with some decent tires on them. Another $50 for a set of correct lug bolts from a wrecking yard, and $185 to ship it to my stepson in Utah.
He's rolling again so he's happy and that makes his mother happy. Now if he could just find a job...
Regards,
gary
