Guru's Up! Push me over the edge...or not
Hello everyone, I've had several W201's & W124's over the years so I'm pretty familiar with MBs and I've always wanted one of these cars. I'd love to have a 350 diesel model and come across one every now and then. I've spoken with three different MB mechanics that I respect and they all say the same thing - stay away from that car! Not necessarily the diesel but the chassis in general.
On top of that almost every used one I see says 'rebuilt transmission' on the ad which leaves me scratching my head...bottom line guys is I'm torn between buying one of these and the advice I'm overwhelmingly getting ~ please talk me off the ledge or push me over, I need some guidance here
