95-S500 occasional stalling when stopped at intersection...

Hi,

I have this problem just recently... I bought it in 05 when it has 95K miles. it now has 130K. It runs well otherwise, on highway

Is there anything that I could do to fix this? Would replaceing the fuel relay fix this problem? Or anything else? May be a full tune-up with new wire set, plugs, filters, etc???

Have you used the code reader under the hood to see what codes might be stored? Yours is an OBD1 system that give codes as a series of blinks.

s430 2002 and s500 1996 mercedes benz

my 1996 s500 is doin the same thing. it stalls upon xcelleration and then takes off. ruff idle at times and it use to put off this horrible gas smell.. what do i need to do??
