1993 600 sec
1993 sec 600, amplifier question/radio.

hi friends.
i have a 600 sec 1993 with the factory radio. we removed everything from the car that pertains to the factory radio.
i installed a new radio and amps in the trunk. i am trying to locate the harness of the factory speakers. i know the speaker wires did not go to the radio . the amp in the trunk on the left side behing the carpet trim also did not reveal the speaker wires... anyone know where i can locate those wires ? i would like to run my amps with the factory wires that got to the doors etc.... less work and cleaner job.

thanks.

If the 93 SEC is similar to the SEL it has a two piece radio, the one in the dash, and the tuner in the trunk. The two are connected by a large DIN cable, which also routes through the CD if you have one. The two channel audio coming from the tuner in the trunk is routed to the amp that sits high on the drivers side rear wheel housing and has an oblong connector. The balance came thru the radio, the front to rear came thru the fader on the console acting on the amp. The outboard speakers on the dash are part of the CTEL system and not used for the sound system
