I believe you've got the electronic 722.6, assuming so, you'll have to clear the trans codes before it will work again even if what you've done fixed it. OBDII scanners cant do that (they only see and clear the generic codes such as P715 or P720, etc.); disconnecting the battery won't clear them either. Needs SDS or other high end scanner to read that module.

It may or may not be a 722.6 transmission. It could be a 722.5 with a throttle valve cable going from the throttle linkage to the transmission. It could be broken or in need of adjustment. There should also be a vacuum line going to the transmission modulator valve as well. They are known to get swollen and tear.
