ASR issue 1994 S600 Coupe EURO
I have been trying to diagnose several issues with a recently acquired 1994 S600 Coupe originally sold for the Euro market. Apparently there are two ASR pump systems, Bosch and Velisco. The wiring schematic that I have for a 1995 US verion S600 Coupe matches most of the wiring, but doesn't match with the hydraulic ASR pump on my car. A7/3 of the asr/ets/esp hydraulic unit shows a 17 pin connector, but my car has a 13 pin connector. The wiring diagram of x11/4 shows pin 6 going to pin 2 of the asr control module, but that is different than on my car, my asr module has NO pin 12. X11/4 is 38 pin diagnostic port. Was there a change during certain model years of the w140's or US vs Euro versions?
