i Need Help Changing shocks w140 S500

Hello guys i need help... i just bought 1997 s500 and suspension is very rough and every time I hit pothole it makes noise. I looked the front shocks it looks like easier to change then the rear ones and i cant see where is top nuts are for rear shocks. Is anyone can help me with instructions? if you guys have any pictures too that would be great

You probably don't have shocks in back. Time to read up on the hydro-pneumatic self leveling suspension.

i dont think i have hydrolic self leveling suspention my car dosent have that option

You DO have shock's, it's just the are hydraulically supplied with fluid by a pump in the engine compartment. Chances are that the shocks are fine (at least you'll hope they are, as they are NOT cheap), but instead you need to simply change the two (2) hydraulic accumulators (pressure spheres). They need to be replaced every-so-often, and usually aren't. You can get new ones for around $100 each, it is not too difficult to do yourself, but most any mechanic can handle it, if you don't want to.
