s500coupe 1994
I have a 1994 mercedes s500coupe and i noticed on two occasion the ASR malfuntion light came on and i could not accelerate..... I turned the vehicle off for a bit then it came back on and i went on my way. i completely loss power from the gas pedal.... some one please direct me as to what to do

Sell the car. ASR is the bane of western civilization. Or build the code reader and read the codes. Or do a search for "ASR light". Google gets 1.6 million hits, which is way down from what it used to be. Seriously there are dozens of things it could be - read the codes or get them read.

Unless you know what the codes are..you can't fix it....too many shops guess as to what the problem is...many shops are just parts changers.....buy a scanner with different attachments...you can use it on any car then!
