Same year...same problem...
fuse box in the trunk...passengerside.....you need a test light.....disconnect the positive cable and attach one end of your test light to the terminal that you disconnected and touch the other end to the battery terminal....if the test light is still lite...pull a fuse...if the light dims or goes out...there is the problem..if the light only dims....you need to continue pulling fuses until no light is on. Don't forget the trunk light....when you open the trunk....just take your finger and push the trunk lock down until it locks and the trunk light will go out....then start pulling fuses...don't forget to push the trunk lock open when you are done or when you close the trunk...it won't.
Some folks say to disconnect the negative cable instead of the positive cable....try both ways.
The drain could also be the light in the glove box...mine was also as well a fuse in the trunk. Once you find the drain....you need to trace the problem..could be a bad ground, bad wire, bad connection, etc...could be.....my problem was the fuse for the amp in the trunk and the power antenna. Not that the fuse was bad...but the amp and power antenna had to be replaced.

Benica,
that makes tons of sense! actually now that you mention the amp. my amp was doing weird things before the problem got to this level. Good info!! I will try it.
Thanks for your reply.

If the alternator has a short...it most likely would not be charging....I'd test the alternator as well to see if it is charging and either eliminate as a possible problem or not.....it seems that you have a drain and the only way to verify is by doing what a shop will do as mentioned above....a test light and start pulling fuses. The fuse panel in the trunk....usually is where the problem is found....
