Fixing suspension noise
Lately my 92 500sel has been making a low pitched squeeking noise from the front right and both rear suspension. i took it to my tech and took a look underneath.
the control arm bushings are what the noise was coming from. all we did was take a hypodermic needle (can get them at any pharmacy store) and inject the rubber part of the bushings with oil. this will stop the noise for good. if the rubber is torn then you have to replace them. usually $20 a peice.
once you inject the bushings, bounce the car to check and make sure the noise is gone.
thats pretty much it! quick fix to an annoying problem. i learned this from my tech just today. he was named best mercedes mechanic in the midwest twice. pretty badass.

Secondary problem with that is oil eats rubber.A silicon based lube would work better.
