1996 Mercedes S600 ABS, ESP, and ADS trouble lights all on solid

I'm new to this forum, new to MB's, and would appreciate any help I can get. Here's my problem:
1996 Mercedes S600. Battery had been dead for quite a while, replaced w/new battery. ABS, ESP, and ADS trouble lights all on solid. Steering turned from full lock left to right to reset ADS, will not reset. OBDII scan shows no trouble codes. Once in a while vehicle will start with no trouble lights. Once, vehicle oscillated brake, triangular ESP lamp flashing, seemed to be left rear. Problem quit after cycling ignition twice. ABS, ESP, and ADS trouble lights stiil on. Vehicle otherwise operates fine. Suspect a wheel speed sensor, but why no trouble codes?

Get Mercedes or a properly equipped independent shop to perform a quick test with those warning lights on.

ABS sensors can be intermittent... rodents find wiring to be particularly flavorful.... it happens.

Start with scanning for fault codes.
