Torque Specs

Does anyone know the torque specs for the 6 Tranny pan bolts. I think my son over tightened them and twecked the pan. I have new pan , now looking for Torque spec this time....anyone, anyone?

I find it odd how hard this information is to find. Neither the parts guy or the service guy at MB could or would tell me. They said it is only available to the Teks. With only 6 bolts I think the torque is more critical the the old Chevy that has abolt every inch or so. I guess this project will have to wait a little longer.

I think the torque is 10nm but its very hard to over tighten or tweak the pan the little aluminum blocks have stops on them. You cant tighted past the stop.

Thought I'd come back and put the torque spec in incase someone does a search like I did, then they will find it. it's 8 NM
