SOS! 97 s320 something is wrong with ignition switch!!!!
Help, I'm stock. I cant turn my ignition, a 97 S320. I turn the key and it will not turn to a start position. It feels like something is holding it inside. I can lock and unlock steering wheel but no further. I tried switching gears in to N same thing. P to N no go. It feels like my ignition switch is frozen or something I should try before spending $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on this problem. THANKS.

while turning the key to start the engine.....use one hand and rotate the steering wheel back and forth....it could be that it's in the lock position and it needs help to unlock it.....
if not...you need to replace the ignition switch....or you might have an electrical problem....not enough power in the battery, starter going bad, etc...

Thanks, but the only thing I can do is to lock and unlock steering wheel. I will not turn
further than that. It's like something is holding the key from turning all they way to start position.
