The only thing I like about this vehicle is the color and the removal of antenna.
I am still having trouble accepting the modification to the exterior.
I can't say its bad, but just troublesome to appreciate it.
I am sure a lots of efforts and loving care have been put towards making it look this way.

Alright there is too much fail going on in this thread... Would've kept my mouth shut, but there are too many hacked up 140s on here, so I need to post mine old one up.
Specs:
576hp
598tq
5200lbs
6-10mpg
0-60 in 4.5-4.7 depending on launch
198mph top speed (I went quite close to this several times)
There, I'm done

^^^ Thank you. I had a RENNtech engine installed. They take the regular 6.0L M120 from the 600sel/S600, bore it out, install a special crank, go through the heads, hone the intake manifold, re-tune the ECU's, etc. Overall, it is similar to the Brabus 7.3L M120s.
I owned it for a year and a half or so and put roughly 14k miles on it in that time. Gas mileage was similar to a tank--about 6-8mpg around town and 8-10 on the highway. I would get about 180-200 miles per tank. It was worth it though both the time and money I spent on it paid off. It is the only S74 in existence.
The speed and handling were incredible. It would do 70-100mph in a blink of an eye, it cornered pretty flat for a 5200lb barge, and the brakes had zero fade. I can't even describe it--it's a waste until experienced.
The mods list is:
355x32 Rotora slotted rotors all around with 6 piston front calipers and 4 piston rears
Lorinser RSK3 20x9.5 all around with 275 front and 285 rear Pilot Sport 2's
Lorinser door trim
Cup holders in doors
Custom fitted steering wheel
20% tint all around except windshield
Eisenmann race muffler with resonator delete (about 103-105db at full throttle)
Hardwired hidden radar detectors behind front and rear bumpers
Lorinser spoiler
Some custom paintwork done on rockers, tail lights, etc
Bilstein Sport shocks with H&R lowering springs
Pieced together my own emblems for hood and trunk
Twin electronic fans replacing stock belt driven fan
OS Giken LSD (RENNtech installed and built)
Limiter removed on auxiliary fans so they would run full speed when triggered

ive been absent from these forums a long time... what a direction it has taken since ive been gone. Im not a fan of most of the 140s ive seen in this thread (the 7.4 renntech is an insane exception... id figure out a way to buy it if i found it for sale).
anyway, to each their own...
here are my babies. the s320 hasent gone more than 50 miles in the past 2+ years, and the s600 hasent gone more than 2k miles. Too much on my plate over the years and i refuse to let them go. im convinced ill own them still when im 80 years old.
the s320 has been in the family since day 1 and the 600 was purchased in 2001, if i remember right.

Another great MB from you. Car looks great! Clean and professional as a 140 body should. I still think you need to post a thread of all your cars I always thought I had enough cars until I saw your collection on various post. Looking foward to seeing many more.

Hmmm, both of my 600SEL cars have an oil cooler? A 1991 Japan market car and a '92 German market car. After market or factory?

Hey - that ugly ground scraping red one up there gave me some ideas. It looks like it's got 4 flat tires, and you sure wouldn't want to take it on a long ride. But there's bits and pieces of that car that could be useful to a good 140, like the headlights, grillwork, maybe taillights etc.
Around here though you couldn't take that car out of the garage without getting beat up
