Dela,,,Silver will look good...but with some of the rough roads in Nairobi you will suffer and also destroy the rims,,,unless its just for highway cruising...(I'm Kenyan I noticed the background and the plate, Lovely tank)

i bought the car for a steal from an old guy who was doctor. he had no problem shelling out $$$ to the dealership for regular maint. he also did a number of things such as upgrade suspension, replace hydraulic lines, upgrade AC, transmission maint and hell of alot more. and the best part was he had $20k in receipts to prove it. so it was a no brainer. motor and trans remain bulletproof.
the only thing i've had to take care of was a squeek in the suspension, and that cost me 90$. theres a small knuckle inside the suspension. sometimes the fluid inside the rubber gets low and it starts making some really annoying noise. my mechanic just took siringe full of fluid and injected it and it was gone. usually this is the best way a mechanic can get you to spend hundreds$ on the suspension work.
im hoping to do some minor cosmetic changes this summer. what about you?

broken and better
Three years ago my favourite Benz got T-boned.
Insurance wrote it off.
I demanded to buy it back, they agreed.
Nearly three years of part time amateur struggle with some assistance
from a panel shop for a couple of tricky bits and paint.
Car had to be completely re-certified for road use in New Zealand.
But now I'm happy again.
A pillar B pillar and valance structually perfect after this hit.
Double glazing means a hell of a lot of glass in the upholstery.
Panels sorted, rear 1/4 to be done yet.
All finished. Looks simple, but was a complex job.
