outside mirrors
can some one hlep me out here my rh mirror was smoking when i tred to use it so i know the wires are frayed so my question is can the wires be replaced or do i have to replace the whole mirror i cant find where the wires disconenct from and help i would be thankful

Had the same problem on my 98 S500 drivers side I just replace the mirror it was quit simple. Took off the cover three screws and unplugged it. The new mirror went right on it was a 20 min job no problems since. Hope that helps

driver side view mirror
my driver side side view mirror will not fold in but its loose its not tight as should be. I haf my mirrors folded in one night the next morning i used button to open back up and it only open half way then i noticed it was loose. Any suggestions or thoughtsa?
