Ignition coil boot
hey guys, i was wondering how to remove an ignition coil boot on a straight 6 97' s320. I figured the coil boot should pop right out so i tried yanking it out and the brittle plastic cracked, so now i got a stub where the ignition coil boot is and i have no way of getting it out.

so the ignition coil is stuck down in the shaft after you broke off the top of it , is that right . if so have you tryed some needle nose pliers to pull it out..

i tried using pliers but the chunks of the boot just keep comin off as i use force

have you tried a piece of a clothes hanger , something long and skinny , to wedge down in there and pull up the pieces.
