What happened to the 140 coupe forum

When I used to visit this board a month or two back, there was a separate forum for the 140 2door. Why have you guys been relegated to the 4door clump? I have always loved this design (the 140 coupe) and if I recall there was a couple nice ones roaming this board. I would like all of the real 140 2door owners to: PLEASE STAND UP!

I've been on here for 8 months or so and never seen a coupe forum. In fact never found one anywhere - C140's are rare so not many folks to discuss them.

Let me know if you know of any sites or forums to discuss 140 coupes.

Zin- I could be wrong, the first time I came on this board was about 8months ago myself, so I guess all the recent posts where more centered around the 140coupe. I think you posted a few of yours with Lowenharts, and a body kit. Am I right?

I have one of those, S500 coupe. There are a few issues with my car at least, mine. I cannot speak for other owners. First, my driver seat control gone bad right after the warranty expired. I did purchased the extended warranty but I moved and the dealer here does not honor it. All they told me was they sell the warrantee and would only honor what they sell. Plus the first time I took the car there, they spilled oil all over the engine compartment. The second time, they forgot to tighten the radiator cap and it leaked all over after coming home. So, I gave up on them.

Next, the A/C leaked and the other place did repaired and billed the warranty company. Then the center console latch was broken and they said they replaced the whole unit but I doubt they did because I noticed something from the old one is still there.

Then the master steering pump was replaced because it made a lot of noise when I steered.

Right now I take the car to a generic Mercedes shop in town after the extended warranty expired. He takes care of his customers' as his own so far I haven't had any other problems with the coupe except the normal wear and tear.

So far I am very please with the coupe and it runs smooth and flawlessly. After 8 years, it still smells like it's new.
