I'm thinking of buying a 92 400SE. It runs great, ( 167k) everything works. But, it has 2 issues. The first, when going uphill with 3/4 throttle the oil pressure gauge drops into the red and goes to zero then goes back up to 3. There's plenty of oil in the car. Second, when first accelerating there is a pully noise in the front of the motor which immediately goes away. Anyone have any ideas?

Oil pressure senders wear out after so many miles.As for pully noise,its about time to change them.I replace tensioner pully,and idler also.Not much at rockauto.
