car shaking when engine is warm
hi guys,
i have this problem ,when my engine is warm like driving after 20 minutes my car shakes/vibrates a little when stopping at traffic lights or accelerating at low speed , but when i put the gear in parking the vibration stops.
is it something with my engine mounts or transmission fluid which i suspect.

MBWorld Fanatic!
could be dirty maf sensor(spray clean it),spark plug or wire, coil pak, electrical harness breaking dow(replace harness).fuel filter or pump.

Did you Check Engine light come on? I had a similar problem in my '98 CL600 which threw on the Check Engine light. It turned out that I had a bad ignition coil. I troubleshooted it by connecting an OBDII scanner that I bought at an auto parts store to read the codes and it was showing me the code for a misfire in Cylinder #5. Since the spark plugs were recently replaced , I decided to swap the ignition coil on Cylinder #5 with the coil on #1 then clear the CEL codes. I restarted the car and the Check Engine light came back on after a few seconds of idling. I read the codes again and it showed me a misfire in Cylinder #1.

Not sure. I do know that the engine mounts on the Mercedes V12 cars wear out faster than on a V8 W140 due to the greater weight of the engine compared to a V8 in addition to the added torque. I had mine replaced at 85,000 miles. Unfortunately, its not an easy job. There are a few good postings on the MBWorld and Benzworld forums that cover the W140 engine mounts which I'd suggest you check out. It might also not hurt to connect the OBD scanner one more time since it's been a few months just to rule out a misfiring spark plug, another bad coil (car has 1 coil per cylinder) or a bad MAF sensor (1 per each cylinder bank). Good luck!!!

i think i solved this almost,
i saw a vacuum hose at the back on the engine that went to the intake that was a bit loose and i grabbed it at where it was plugged into and the vibration suddenly stopped
and my cars vacuum doors also sometimes doesnt work maybe its the because its losing pressure there.
i will replace those vacuum hoses and let you guys now !!

o i also replaced the two rubber hoses after the maf sensors because they had some cracks and this helped a bit with the acceleration, because my car didnt accelerate like a s600 if the engine was warm
those rubber hoses were each 80 euros !!! nothing special just some rubber hose with a 90 degree corner and it doesnt have even pressure on it

solved!!!
replaced some vacuum hoses and the spark plug cabels(sooo expensive, and even expensiveer to replace it because it is so much work due the intake manifold that has to be taken of)
the vibration is completely gone and the car accelerates as the beast now
