1995 S500 Coupe VS. 1999 CL500 Coupe

Hi ALL.

I love my 95' S500. I think the body still eats the 2000 CL500 .
I have however had a rash of nit picky problems, but not the dreaded evaporator issue.... YET, and am not looking forward to it. I noticed that they made some changes to the body and tranny in 96'.

I am seriously thinking about upgrading to a 99' CL500

Overall.... is the 99 CL500 a fully debugged version of the
95 S500 ? Any known issues with this model year?

After 1995, think they changed the name to CL, you also get Parktronic and BabySmart passenger seat. Different pattern on the leather, softer, I think. And a bit of other gadgets. I also heard the 95 was the last year quality was still good, but in your case, it isn't true, I guess. It's your call. Mine has 42K miles on right now and still running fine without much problem. The only problem I have is the old tech phone. I am ready to change it to a Nokia soon.
