1999 S320 LWB
***New Member & First Time Benz Owner.....Need Some Advice From All of You Experts***

Hey all,

I'm new to this whole modifying thing but after doing a little research I decided I'm going to be getting the 6000k HID kit for the 1999 S320 LWB I picked up this past weekend.

I want to make sure of 2 things before I commit to the purchase.

1.) I want the the best bang for my buck as money isn't an issue as long as I'm receiving the best product for my first Benz. Can anyone recommend a specific kit?

2.) I do not want to have the "bulb out" light up my dashboard. There is a company named Xenon Supply that guarantees that it won't happen with their bulbs but I'm not sure if they are the best option just because of that.

That said, my 3 basic questions for you experts are:

1.) 35w vs 55w? How do I find out how many watts my headlights currently have & which is better for my car?

2.) Brand? Is there a known name brand that is top of the line in HID kits/bulbs that is well known around this forum that people would recommend?

3.) Should I leave the high beams alone or change those as well?

Thanks in advance!!

I am new to the Benz world also, but not to the custom world. I have delt with Xenon in the past and they offer a good product. Are you going direct to Xenon or threw a supplier?
Xenon should be able to answer your questions correctly if you are speaking with them directly.
The factory bulb wattage should be stated in your owners manual. Normally its 35w low and 55w high.
