Question Removal of Rear door Panel on S500

I need a little assistance on removing rear door inside panel on my 99 S500. I need to remove the speaker grille bacause it inadvertedly developed a hole due to a ski pole going through it. So far I've gotten this far:
- removed the 2 screws by the door closing mechanism
- removed the screw located in the small well at the bottom of the door handle under the small cover
- popped-off the botton and sides along the panel (without breaking any of the retainers!!)
- ... and this is as far as I can get.

I am afraid to pull on the panel harder since I may break the wood trim. Is there another screw I am missing somewhere?? If so, where is it?? How do you remove this panel, for heaven's sake?? Your help would be greatly appreciated... .

HELP?? Thanks, Joey

Well, I had to do sort of the same thing on my S320. I can't remember the exact procedure, but I found instructions at this site in one of the forums.... You'll have to do some searching.

I advise purchasing a few of those plastic door clips for reassembly, as you always end up breaking a couple of them. This seems to happen on all cars, not just Benzes.
