600 SEL Engine wiring: MAF and EGAS
I recently purchased a '92 600 SEL and have been getting a few problems sorted.
The most expensive of these have been the replacement of:
1 x MAF
1 x EGAS unit
1 x MAF plug
A quantity of wiring leading to the replaced MAF plug.
Now, it's clear that my car is suffering from the disintegrating wiring and I'm kinda keen to prevent any more expensive components going bang from errant surges and sparks.
Here's my question:
Which looms should I be replacing/having rewired in the engine bay?
I see a lot of people refer to the c. $850 engine wiring loom. Does this connect the ETAs, MAFs etc. to the EGAS unit?
Or are their separate looms I should be looking for?
Looking forward to any input.
Cheers,
Drew
