Passenger door wouldn't open

Passenger door wouldn't open
The driver side passenger door will not open when the door is unlocked. It doesn't open from either the outside or inside. Yes the button shows the door unlocked. With the door closed and can't be open by the handles is there another way to open the door short of ripping out the inside door paneL?
Any suggestions?

Dan, I share your "pain" in this situation. My rear left door has the same problem. Button pops up and yet will not open either from inside or outside handles. The pneumatic system equipment (PSE) pump, under the rear seat, and the "Door Close Assist Pump", in trunk just next to the left side of fuel tank has everything to do with it.
Do you have any luck lately and wish to share your experience with me and others? Currently, am working on the engine M119. Will work on that darn rear left door later.

I don't think the problem has anything to do with the PSE. I called MB service and they have run into this a few times. They said it's apparently the linkage between the Button and the door handle. They asked if the window would go down. If it does they may be able to snag the linkage and open the door otherwise they will have to drill a hole in the door. Estimate is$150 to $350. I plan to take it to them in another month.

Dan, thanks for sharing! ...hmmm lower the window and try snag the linkage, what a thought. Will try it someday, with "tons" of lady luck on my side. ;-))
Meantime, my remote key fob is busted, now looking to get one and the programing to go with it. ...sigh.
