AC Problem Control Panel not responding

Im having a problem where my control panel for the AC is not sending the signal to the compressor to turn on. I have connected the AC compressor to a switch for now so I can turn it on when I want it to kick in. Anyone have this problem, if so is it the control unit itself that may be damaged? Thanks for any insight in advance.

Forcing the compressor on could cause you some expenses later. There are pressure switches and othe items that disable the compressor. Check out this site there are codes you can read out to touble shoot the system (15) will keep you busy. You should be aware that 140 bodies are cronic evaporator issues that translates into "dash out, $3,000 out of your pocket" dont let any inexperienced people do it. MB does this on a regular basis.
