easy, intake is #1 mod you should to. I spend $25 on 9 inch K&N air filter and it must has added a good 10-15HP at the wheels. The biggest difference is the intake noise is much gruntier (almost V8 sounding) and there is so much more low end torque, as soon as you step on pedal it wants to go.
next best mod would be a free flow remus exhaust, you have have to welded on to replace stock muffler. Not only will it free up alot of the back pressure (which is A LOT), but it will also save weight (probably a good 15-20lbs, maybe more). Also spare tire and jack removal should also help. hope that helps.

I believe that to be impossible. 10-15 HP at the wheel would translate to 20-25 HP from the engine!!! Not possible from the 3.2 V6, just from an air filter. I think 3-5 HP from the engine may be a more realistic expectation.

i mean 10-15 at crank, sorry. but it is possible becuase benz always chokes the motor off, they have to in order to make them as silent as they are. you can definately open up alot of potential.
btw 10-15 HP at the wheels translates to 12-18HP at crank, not 20-25. just to clarify.
