Can anyone help out with the Part Number of the High Pressure Hose that comes out (or goes to) the Power Steering box? I guess this is the same unit that feeds the Hydraulic suspension (load leveling?) system.

The leak (about 1 quart a month) appears to be seeping out of the front section of the hose assembly, where the threaded metal fitting is crimped onto the rubber hose. It's directly inboard of the driver's tire and slightly aft (behind) the pump reservoir.

I'm almost sure there's no repairing this item - it'll have to be replaced, but I can't bear the idea or the cost of taking it to a dealer. I'm sure we can replace the item for much less somewhere else.

Comments, suggestions?

If you are looking for the high pressure line, it is #5 in the diagram that Guy so kindly posted, p/n: 140 466 01 81, about $118 from www.buymbparts.com.

you guys are the best!

The part is ordered, it'll be here in 2 days, and we'll have it R&R'd by this weekend. Hopefully, we'll also get the engine wire harness changed out, with the plugs.

Maybe the car will be ready to hit the road Sunday!

I can't thank you people enough, really. Especially Guy - you gave me the harness Part No. too, remember?
