722.6 Conductor plate solenoid covers
While changing my conductor plate in my 722.6 W140 I found there were no white solenoid covers in my car like those I have seen pictured in some of the DYIs. Looking further, there seems to seem to be some variations but I am not sure what is correct. Are the covers missing from my 1997 S420 or were they not used for that year? Are they important?
Thanks

I'm new and didn't know about posting the VIN. Here it is. Btw, my car runs fine, I just wanted to know if I should seek the white plastic solenoid covers I have seen on other cars. Maybe these shields/covers didn't come on all 722.6s?

the white plastic covers (2 off) are there to prevent unwanted particles falling onto those solenoid contacts. Without it , don't bother looking. It should work just fine!
