Connect battery charger under the hood? Possible connection points.
Just parked my C140 (CL500) 1993 in the winter garage and got a bad feeling, normally the winter is at least four months here in Sweden...
The garage cage is very small and I'm sure i cant reach/open the boot, parking "front in" in the cage is not an option either, so if the battery runs flat I'll be in trouble. So, is there a good and safe place to connect a (small) battery charger under the hood? I'm thinking of doing a more or less permanent installation or at least a permanent connector to connect the charger during the winter.
Thanks in advance
Peter

There will be a main power cable (red) that goes to the fuse box. So you'll most likely have to lift up the fuse box to gain access to it. I have done this on my W220, before I realized that I could access the same cable from under the carper on the passenger side. I believe the W140 has a similar configuration.
