95 S600 cold engine noise
The car has 288000kms on it. This morning when I started it around -1 degrees it start to make loud ticking noise. It come and goes, when the car warms up it would stop. I wonder what it could be ? Lifter, valve, or cam shaft.

I did nott listen,Mine like a said does that when cold,however I lost one motor to a loud tick in the head,aluminum was in my filter,so I bought a new motor.I know v8s have plastic cam oilers,that break up,you can order metals ones.some are prone to oil pump chain probelms to thick motor oils.
