Driver's seat removal

I need to remove my driver's seat bottom for leather repair. Can anyone give me some tips on how to remove it? Thanks.

And, of course the answer to this question, and the same question on any other forum never gets answered, so no one gets to see photos of how to remove the lower seat cushion on a W140. Incredible, as if the stupid line drawings in the manual are as easy to follow as actual photos.

can your big hands turn wrenches?yes, you can.Yes, the big are easy to get to bolts .The harder part was that string mechnaism for the front seat. You might as well removed the whole seat then detach the bottom. All I did was chnage the seats.Attaching that string part to the seat was much headache than the bolts.Do the big bolts and then you will gain access to the bottom seat string mechanism. This is also on youtube.
