AC blower "driver side" not blowing hot air

I have a 96 s320 and the driver side won't change from cold to hot air but the passenger side works fine. Any idea what part I have to check and/or replace?

Sounds to me that you have an AC flap issue-----you can use your AC control unit to do the flap test------then you can go to the switchover valve block and vacuum test the corresponding vacuum flap actuator which would be faulty---other than that see a good old MB AC mechanic as the older ones are very complicated!----if you are looking for a simple fix---find a gypsy
