‘93 400 SEL INTERIOR MIRROR BRACKET
I need to replace my interior mirror because the entire plastic housing is cracked in enough strategic places that it no longer can attach to the rest of the mechanism/bracket to keep it in place. I have a new one from Mercedes Classic but can’t quite figure out how to remove the old one. I removed the one screw that it had, but I don’t want to force it out. Does anyone know if removing it requires more disassembly of trim in the area? Looking at the new, replacement bracket, there aren’t any obvious attachment points, so I’m thinking it might just snap out somehow (all wiring has been disconnected), but I don’t want to risk forcing it. Any experiences to share?
See picture of what remains in the car that I need to remove in order to install the new one.

No screws, you simple jam a large flat head screw driver up along the metal portion and leverage it out. It goes back in with a bit of force, but don't use enough to break the plastic. I noticed your post is from June, so you probably already figured it out, but I can see if I can find one in a junk yard this weekend and I'll film how to remove it.
