Resonator bypass modification

hey guys. I haven't been on here in a while but I will probably be back more now b/c M3 is almost completely finished in terms of mods and since my modification addiction is worst than most crack addicts I need to mod SOMETHING

Roozy on the C32 forum (my buddy from home) did the resonator bypass on his car for a whopping $30. They take out the huge resonator and replace it with a simple bypass pipe thereby eliminating the resonator all together. He said the car sounds like it has an exhaust now, even with stock exhaust. He didn't notice any real gains but the resonator does weight anywhere from 35-50lbs so it is a decent weight reduction. I will be doing this modification when I go back home. But if you do it then running aftermarket exhaust is probably not a good idea because it may drone without the resonator if you combine the two. If i do exhaust I won't do this mod, so it all depends. Right now I'm looking at the universal Remus exhaust but in order to run exhaust you have to create an opening in the rear bumper (like most cars have) for exhaust pipes to come straight out instead of pointing downward. the choise is up to yall. I hope that helps.

Oh also I may do springs to drop the car and give it a much more aggressive look as well as lowering its center of gravity to help handling alittle more.
