1998 W140 'Start Error'

Hi Guys,

My 1998 W140 S320 has a Start Error.

I have called upon an ex-Merc mechanic and he tried to scan the car with his STAR Scanner. However, it said on the software when he clicked on 140, that 'HHT is not available on this system' or something similar.

I've tried to search around for guidance on how to obtain this, but I can't find it. My car does not start due to the start error. When the key is in and out of the ignition several times upon jump starting cables, then the car starts, but this is not good as we don't know how long it will take to start. It can be over an hour of trying.

Thanks guys.
