1996.06 s600 w140 starts 5-7 sec and dies
Please help me to solve this weird issue with the 1996.06 S600 W140.
The car starts, and for the first 5 to 7 seconds it runs well, and I can rev it up as well. The engine sounds perfect. Then the engine is stopped suddenly. Only the fuel pump can be heard for another second. I can do this endlessly.
Checked things
Connectors for ecus and other modules under the bonnet and in the trunk. Perfect, no water damages whatsoever.
Fuel pressure with an external gauge. Pressure Stays up for couple of seconds after engine cuts out 3-4 bars.
Not a DAS issue. Try a car without the transponder in the key, and it was a different story then. It cranks but is not firing up.
No faults in left or right ecus
All fuses are good except under the hood Fusebox fuse f21 blows - its for exterior equipment traced from WebETM should be short circuit in mirrors i will deal that later.
What else?
What can cause that sudden stop after 5 perfect running seconds?
Please advise.
Thank you
