Safety Switch

Does anyone know what is the function of the safety switch in the middle console? Do I leave the switch on the "little man or the dot"

Thanks, Pete, but do you leave the switch on the "little man or the dot"?

Not to be too picky but the switch merely disables the rear seat window switches, to prevent the wee ones from playing with them. As someone noted previously on this board, you can tell which setting does what by moving the switch at night and observing the rear window switches (parking/head lights on). The rear switches will illuminate when enabled. With the switch showing the little man (child) the rear switches are disabled, with the dot they are enabled.
