Intrax Progressive rate springs mod
hey guys, I decided to go with Intrax progressive spring rate springs instead of the eibach / H&R route. Why you ask, we there is a good reason...
Both H&R and eibach are normal springs in that the rate is pretty consistant and this is great for high performance driving but you sacrifice some of the softness of stock sustension. The intrax springs will drop the car roughly 1-1.6 inches (or more depending on which spring pads i chose to use). It will help eliminate alot of that ugly wheel gap that i hate so much. The progressive rate allows for very low spring rates initially and as the spring compresses more the rate increases for further support and etc. its not as aggresssive as the eibach/H&R but still much better than stock.
I bought them for only $229 plus shipping (not bad considering most eibach/H&R go for $470 retail), they will arrive in the next 5 days, once i get back in town I will install and do the write up. it should really help change the look of the S-class and give it that really aggressive stance that I love.
