I have the usual w140 problem with the window switches on the centre console pushing through as the plastic tabs have broken that hold it in place.
what remedies have members used to secure them back in place without using glue. (may need to remove them again at some time)l=???

I have already pulled out the console piece that holds them (2 piece console as early w140 model). the plastic backing is very bad shape. can you purchase new
plastic backing?

I used JB Weld and then sanded edges to fit snug. It perfect and I haven't had a problem since.
