all you need is jus the bulb, but like i said in another thread, if you have the projectors you have to get the D2S bulbs. Where as the D2R bulbs are for the reflective housing such as 2000-2002 headlights

Calvin, you would need to purchase the Phillips Ultinon 6000k bulbs after you purchase your headlights since stock xenon bulbs are about 4300k. If you purchase non-xenon headlamps then you would need xenon kit with ballast and ignitor and the Ultinons.

i cant believe the difference, with the same wattage, just changing the color. to my eye, thye look brighter. i know people get into the technical mumbo jumbo, with lumens, kelvin temp, wattage, etc. but to my eye, these bulbs look brighter, better and exceeded my expectations!

the ones listed here you just need the bulbs. its just like replacing any other light bulb really. only the plug which goes into the base of the bulb is different. eitherway, it is just a bulb swap no kit required.

I like the color as well, but would you rather have better looking color or better visibility? You guys may want to read this article.

The 6000K Philips Ultinon produce 800 lumens less than OEM 4300K.
