Here are some shots of the Phillips Ultinon 6000k installed on the car. The first is initial stage and then the beam color output. Enjoy!

I don't quite get what your saying here....

Are the 2nd,3rd, and 4th pic's before the philips 6000k's were installed, because I think they look just like mine and I haven't changed any bulbs yet? Only your very 1st pic' looks much more blue than mine

The last three are after the warmup. The stock 4300k is much more yellow than the 6000k bulbs. The 6000k color is more of a Purple Hue compared to the 4300k Orange Yellow color. The pictures do it no justice!

Really? mine don't have any orange yellow color to them they look really bright blueish white, only the fog lights, and blinkers have a orange yellow look....So how's the over all light spectrum w/6000k compared to the stock 4300k?
I've heard that the 4300k's give more illumination but the 6000k's have a better blue-purple tint look to them? What do you think? Is it a worth while mod or just a cosmetic one? thanks Side question? Did you notice the second lens doesn't light-up or do anything? Or is mine perhaps defective?

After a longer duration of "Burning" the bulb color on the 4300k will become more blue just as the 6000k will in time. The 6000k increases visibility slightly, but cosmetically it looks way better than the 4300k color output. You really have to see it in person to actually compare the two. It's worth the upgrade believe me!

What did they cost you and where did you buy them? And what about the 2nd lens question in my previous post? Sean...

Hey if it isn't to much trouble.....

Why don't you install left side w/4300k and right w/6000k and post a pic' to show the difference? or will they not function when split a part like that?

2nd Lens?? Do you mean shutter? It's a pain switchin bulbs in and out. I will try to post 4300k vs 6000k to show the difference. Got these off Ebay for $260, but you can try SUVLIGHTS.COM or any other dealer that carry the Phillips Ultinon!

Well I think I answered my own question tonight, I meant what looks to be a 2nd lens, I think your correct it's the shutter for the high beams.
I parked the car facing a store front window and then flashed the high beams it appears magicaly! god I love these new Bi-xenons it's by far the BEST mod I've done besides my 04' facelift AMG bumper/hood.

Yes you do have your auto level and I said so in my post. I have them and the auto level works perfect. plug n play like I said. Hope this is clear. Also most S500'S have a low beam Hid only and have the H7 hi beam.

Actually, the higher the Kelvin, visablity is decreased. It's easier for the human eye to see yellow colors than blue ones. Nice color though

Please refrain from using all caps, it is considered "shouting" on the internet.
And the headlamps should have all the bulbs as did mines. Thank you!
