Passenger Side Reflector on Mirror in/Out???
Hey S Owners,
I was wondering if anyone had issues with their mirror reflectors? Mine keeps showing a malfunction code intermittendly it bugs the living poop out of me
. It works fine then freaks out and states it is out. It is in fact out but later in the day it would work fine. At night I can see a very dim light emmitting from it when it goes out.
Unfortunately it is not under warranty.
Do I need to replace the whole unit or a fuse or something like that.
Please advise,

Do you mean the side markers in the mirrors? If they are gone you need the complete mirror housing, since MB is not selling just the LED assembly as a spare part. The only thing possible is to search EBAY for the LED assembly. It is a cheap Taiwan made replacement part. Looks not too bad and works just fine. Cost about $90-100 the pair. My guess is that yours caught water and show intermittend failures.
To take the mirror housing of you need to be a little DIY talented, but not too much.
If you located replacements I can describe how to swap them.
