Question Registering a W220 in Ca?

Has anyone bought a car out of California & had it registered in California?
Are there any mods to make? And how much? I just got a nice 2002 S430
from Texas. Thanks for any help.

I don't think you need any mod to meet with CA emission. Since all Mercedes that were manufactured are required to meet all 50 states emission. As far as registering I don't kow how much it gonna be since CA goes by the value of the car which you'll be paying on and including the sales taxes of 8.25% since you bought it out of state and you're not going to be paying taxes in TX since you do not live there nor registering it there.
